BenQ-Siemens S81 - Slim 3G Phone
The BenQ-Siemens S81 is a beautifully stylish 3G phone which comes in a superior black & silver effect casing. The design of the handset is both practical & elegant. The handset is extremely slim & measures 109 x 48 x 13 mm which provides a slim classic bar style mobile phone. The phone comes with 30 Mbytes of memory & the user can add MicroSD™ memory cards to extend the memory up to 1 Gbyte. The phone provides the user with up to 320 hours of standby time & up to 4.6 hours of talk time on the battery. The BenQ-Siemens S81 is similar in looks to the BenQ-Siemens S68 but the S81 is a 3G phone.
The phone comes with a built in camera which is a 1.3 megapixel camera & has a 10 x digital zoom option which allows the user to capture all the smallest details on a still photo. The camera comes with a built in LED flash & the user can access the camera feature quickly & easily using the dedicated camera button. There is a second camera which is a VGA camera that is used for the video calling feature. The S81 allows he user to play, record & stream video footage on their phone. The video streaming feature allows the user to see real video footage including the latest sporting highlights & headline news directly to their mobile phone. The user can view all of their photos & video on the phones 262k colour TFT screen which provides a clear 2 Inch display.
The S81 has a music player which can play music in MP3, ACC, ACC+ & WMA music formats. The user can tune into live audio streams from their BenQ-Siemens S81 & enjoy all the latest tunes. The phone can play ringtones in MP3, ACC & AMR formats. The phone comes with a stereo headset which allows the user to enjoy a private listening experience.
The user can connect to other devices using a USB connection or Bluetooth™ wirefree connection. The USB cable provides the user with a wired connection to USB compatible devices & the Bluetooth™ connection offers the user a wirefree connection to any Bluetooth™ compatible device. The 3G technology provides the user with a multi tasking & fast mobile phone which can provide real time streaming, video calling & extremely fast data downloads. The S81 comes with a tri band network & WCDMA which allows the user to use their phone comfortably throughout most of Europe & the US depending on the service operator. The phone comes with a WAP Internet browser which allows the user to search the Internet & enjoy the high speed connection.
The user can stay in contact with others using any of the highly useable messaging services which include text messaging (SMS), multimedia messaging (MMS) & email which has Microsoft Outlook® synchronisation. The email service on the S81 supports POP3 & SMTP. The SMS service provides the user with a text only messaging service & MMS allows the user to create a message which can include text, sound with video or photos. The MMS message can be sent to any MMS compatible device. The user can enjoy the Java™ games which are preinstalled on phone or download more games to suit their gaming taste.
The phone comes with a easy to access & manage phone book which stores each contacts details. The user can create a photo caller identification for their contacts which allows the user to attach a photo to any contact in the phone book. The calendar feature comes with a appointment booking feature which will work like a diary scheduler on the BenQ-Siemens S81. The phone has a built in calculator feature, notes, tasks & alarm clock feature.
The user can personalise their phone to suit their taste by changing the screensavers, wallpapers & colourful themed displays. The user can forward calls onto other user by using the call forwarding feature. The phone will store & keep a record of any missed calls, incoming calls & outgoing calls.
